Prep Phase Clothing [1]

The first cut is the deepest!  I didn't have much to begin with, so I hope this isn't as hard as everyone has projected.  Here is some of what I have to work with --

In this go around, I ended up with 3 piles: keep, donate, sell.  Here is the count so far:

  • keep: 106
  • donate: 126
  • sell: 36

I have to admit that the clothes I am not keeping are clothes I haven't touched for months, so why did I have them in the first place?  A simple phrase comes to mind "what if I need it in the future?"  If I lived without it for months, I think I can survive a couple more months without them.  I need to live for now and not for maybe and what if.  There will be another cut and a bit more to sort through, but mentally, this is all I could do away with for now.

Letting go of control, experiencing changes, making yourself vulnerable, making mistakes, strengthening yourself, gaining confidence, and being honest. Self-Improvement

“The most important thing you can do to achieve your goals is to make sure that as soon as you set them, you immediately begin to create momentum. The most important rules that I ever adopted to help me in achieving my goals were those I learned from a very successful man who taught me to first write down the goal, and then to never leave the site of setting a goal without first taking some form of positive action toward its attainment.” Tony Robbins.
